The texture is spot-on—not too oily, not too dry—and it clings perfectly to a slice of green mango. I’ve tried a few bottled bagoong before and this one has the most balanced saltiness for kare-kare. Just wish the jar was bigger.

Opened the jar and the aroma hit me right away—that deep, savory shrimp smell that takes me straight back to my lola's kitchen. Spread some on green mangoes and it was the perfect salty kick, just how it should be.
