Macapuno (Coco Sport) v hustém sirupu

The texture is exactly what I wanted for halo-halo—chewy but tender, not stringy at all. The heavy syrup is sweet without being cloying, so a little goes a long way in my desserts.

The jar arrived sealed tight and the coconut strands are beautifully chewy, just how I remember from halo-halo. I've already scooped it over shaved ice twice this week and the heavy syrup coats everything just right without turning overly sweet.

The heavy syrup isn’t cloying at all, and the macapuno pieces have that perfect snappy bite. I just poured some over shaved ice and it turned an ordinary afternoon into a mini halo-halo fix.
