Monika Nata de Piña (Ananas) v těžkém sirupu – 340g

These little translucent cubes soaked up the pineapple syrup so well that they're sweet but still taste fresh. I tossed a handful into my afternoon fruit salad and it felt like a mini tropical vacation in a bowl.

The pineapple cubes stay nice and chewy even after sitting in the fridge for a few days, which is exactly what I wanted for my halo-halo. Poured over some shaved ice and sweetened beans, the heavy syrup made everything come together without being cloying.

The syrup is just the right thickness to coat each cube without being cloying, and the pineapple taste actually comes through instead of getting lost. I've been spooning these over vanilla ice cream every night since the jar arrived, the chewiness is exactly what I wanted.
